Travel to and explore one of Australia's most iconic zoos; Australia Zoo, with this awesome transfer and entry package from the Gold Coast. Departing the Gold Coast at 7am in the morning, you'll embark on your journey aboard the Croc Express; a comfortable coach. Come around 10am you'll be pulling up to the front gates of this spectacular zoo and preparing to begin your animal adventure amongst the native wildlife.
Once in the park you are free to roam around and explore all of the exhibits, displays and shows on your own. You can see the Zoo's Sumatran and Bengal Tigers at Tiger Temple, watch the giraffes graze in the African exhibit and of course, see some of Australia's most famous animals including koalas, kangaroos, dingoes and of course, what the zoo is known for, crocodiles. The crocodile feeding shows and displays are a definite must-see and you might be lucky enough to see Bob, Bindi or Terry Irwin performing the show themselves.
The transfer will depart the zoo at 4pm in the afternoon, giving you more than enough time to explore the entire zoo and see and do all that you had planned to. The bus will return to the Gold Coast and drop customers off at their respective hotels around 7pm. Though a long day, this journey is both enjoyable and convenient, especially if you're visiting the Gold Coast and don't have a way to travel around the region. Book your transfer and entry to Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast from the Gold Coast online today.
“ The driver was polite and friendly. The bus was on time at the Gold Coast pickup location. But was not on time to Brisbane locations due to traffic some of those pickups where disgruntled by this. The communication was clear and entry to the zoo was easy and fast. The trip home was good just made for a long day. Overall great experience.
Entry to the zoo and all the shows included which was excellent and a great day out. The coach however took 3 hours each way because of pick ups in Gold Coast and Brisbane which was far too long. It should take 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately to get straight from GC to the zoo.
11 months agoThe zoo was absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend doing this tour! We got to the zoo at around 10am, and had to be back on the bus at 4pm. It was the perfect amount of time to see and do everything the zoo had to offer. My only issue with this tour is that the bus ride was quite long from the Gold Coast, as we had to stop in brisbane for a while and pick up more people. Other than the bus ride feeling quite lengthy, it was an awesome experience and you definitely should go!! :)
12 months agoThe experience at the zoo was great. However, the customer service provided by the driver was well below average. He did not greet us in the morning or say anything on the 3 hour drive on the way or way back. As we exited the bus on the return we said thank you to the driver and he did not even acknowledge us. Customer service was disappointing at best.

1 year agoHighly recommend a trip to Australia Zoo if staying on the Gold Coast, especially with young kids & to break up the theme parks. Having the option to catch a bus made it more affordable than a hire car & also a stress free day as could sit back & relax. Australia Zoo itself is fantastic, so much to see & do.
1 year agoDefinitely recommend this experience, it was a fun trip, we went during covid times so there wasn’t many people on the bus yet it was a very pleasant trip, the driver was lovely! You get plenty of time to spend at the zoo which is amazing and even see some of the shows!
3 years agoMy mates and I would gladly do it again if we ever go back! The ride to the zoo was well air-conditioned (very appreciative on a hot day) and timely, even considering a few latecomers. The driver did a very good job of explaining the best ways to enjoy the park. It was a very smooth trip there and back.
4 years agoIf you're staying in the Gold Coast and don't want to rent a car but still want to experience the amazing Australia Zoo then this is the tour to take. It was easy and the driver gave a lot of really helpful recommendations to make sure our zoo experience went smoothly. The drive takes about 2 hours each way, but it was well worth it to see the zoo.
4 years agoWe had a wonderful day out. Australia Zoo was fantastic and the bus driver was warm and funny. Great commentary on the way to the zoo. Would highly recommend the trip and would do it again. However it was a very long and hot day though, take your walking shoes
4 years agoThe driver to Australia Zoo was very informative and friendly. It was a very stress-free ride especially through the city. Australia Zoo its self was amazing. We had ample time to do what we wanted before a relaxing venture home. I highly recommend this tour.
